Ask a Librarian

Telephone Reference Line

509-444-5336

Reference librarians will respond to information requests where the answers are factual and brief.  For questions about how to search the Internet see our Internet Lessons page; for how to get an email account see our  Web Email Resources page.  Public Service Parameters  will give you more details about our Reference Service.

Responses will usually be given by the close of the following business day (Downtown Library hours). You may be advised that your question requires more extensive research, and that you must come to the library in person. If you are not a current card holder, find out how to obtain a library card. You may email Reference directly at telref@spokanelibrary.org.  For out-of-town customers, Spokane Public Library will research Spokane topics.  For general questions, please contact your local library.
