This Week at the Library (March 23 to 28)
The Indian Trail Library will welcome Mayor David Condon for a State of the City event, Wednesday at 6 p.m. Come by and talk with the mayor about issues affecting your neighborhood!
Has March Madness kept you glued to the TV? It’s time to get out of the house! The East Side Library will have Get in the Garden: Pruning 101, and the Shadle Library will have Scenic Family Hikes in the Spokane Area. Both are at 6:30 on Tuesday.
Ever checked out a fantastic library book and thought, “I could write like that!”? Join us at the Indian Trail Library for a Connected Learning class, eBook Self-Publishing Thursday at 3. Our Digital Projects Manager Tara Neumann will walk attendees through the options available for self-publishing your great American eBook. The South Hill will have a really cool drop-in program on Thursday from 11 to 5: World of Small. They’ll have microscopes and magnifying glasses out so kiddos can get an up close and personal look at natural objects like feathers or leaves.
Now it’s not a library program, but plenty of Spokane folks will be cheering on the Zags in the Sweet Sixteen on Friday. Did your team make it through? Did your bracket get busted? Tempers may flare, and if they do, we’ve got you covered with Conflict Resolution in Your Personal and Professional Life on Saturday at the South Hill Library at 3.
