Computer Training

Do you want to improve your computer skills? The library offers numerous ways to accomplish this. Microsoft’s IT Academy has work-at-your-own-pace lessons on a variety of Microsoft products – from the basics of Microsoft Word to programming with Visual Studio. For more general computer basics, check out their Digital Literacy lessons. How about a more structured course with an instructor? Gale Courses includes six-week courses on Microsoft and Adobe products, such as Excel or Photoshop, and technology courses on everything from networking to A+ certification. Of course the library offers short, hands-on classes on using the internet or establishing your online business presence; just sign up for any upcoming ones on the calendar.
