Microsoft Office Specialist Testing

logo-mos-testing-center1Think you are an expert on a Microsoft Office 2013 product? If so, you can now take the Microsoft Office Specialist test at the library for free or a reduced cost. Having the certification looks great on a resume or job application, and shows your employer or school that you’ve worked hard to master the software. Test vouchers are available for $50 (cash or check) or for free if you bring in a certificate of completion for an appropriate IT Academy course. Be aware that the tests are quite difficult, with a strict time limit, so be sure to study up using the MOS test books or other Microsoft books. Taking a Gale Courses six-week class online would also be helpful. Contact the Downtown Library for more details or to set up an appointment.
