This Week at the Library (March 2 to 8)
What does our recent grant award mean to you? More Connected Learning (CL) classes and more technical and digital skills for people in Spokane. This week the Hillyard Library will offer:
CL: Theory of Video Production, Tuesday at 1:30. The library has some amazing cameras to check out, but what’s the best way to use them? This class will cover shooting principles, editing and uploading.
CL: Growing Your Business with a Website, Wednesday at 1:30. If you don’t have a website for your business, you are missing out on a huge audience. Learn about different platforms and best practices when creating your website.
CL: Job Search Bootcamp, Thursday at 10:30. We’ll go over job websites, resumes, and everything you need to put your best foot forward when searching for a job.
Calling all cool cats! The Indian Trail Library will have a Pete the Cat Party Wednesday at 4!
Here’s our version of the ABC’s: Ancestors, Berries and Coupons. This Saturday we’ll have Genealogy 101 at the Indian Trail Library, 10:30; Get in the Garden: Growing Home Fruits and Berries, Saturday at the East Side Library, 10:30; and Learn to Coupon at the East Side Library at 1:30. “A” could also stand for Art, because at the Shadle Branch we will have The Mandala Experience: A Hands-On Art Opportunity at 3.
All of this plus storytimes, and you can end your week with Games at the Shadle Library. The Shadle Branch puts out board games for all ages every Sunday during open library hours (1-5).
