Obituary Request Form - ONLY for the use of out-of-town customers. If you live in the Spokane area, you are expected to come into the library to do your research

Obituary Search - search by name for obituary listings from the Spokesman Review. Complete since January 2008, with some older records, the search will return names, dates, and page numbers. This file is updated every Saturday. Beginning in 2014, death notices have been marked with an asterisk *. For recent obituaries you can check the Spokesman Review obit website.

Patchen Obituary File - this free database is an obituary index of the Spokane papers from approximately 1940-1979. It was compiled by Lee Patchen and made available online by the volunteers of the Eastern Washington Genealogical Society
