With Spokane weather forecasts predicting extreme heat conditions this week, the City of Spokane has designated various facilities to act as cooling areas while the heatwave persists.
Visit Central, Liberty Park, Hillyard and Shadle Park libraries to cool off! We offer a variety of spaces to relax, read, and evade the hot temperatures outside.
Spokane Public Library will provide relief from the heat during library hours during August 30th – September 2 to provide an air-conditioned space for residents throughout the City.
