It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Yes, that means applications for Artists-In-Residence at The Hive® are OPEN! Not familiar with the Artists-In-Residence program or The Hive®? Here’s a quick summary:
The Hive® is a non-traditional library centered around arts education and free, public event space—no books or computers here! In addition to public meeting space, four studios are reserved for an application-based artist residency program. If selected, artists can choose residencies between one to six months in their studio space. In exchange for the studio space, artists provide programs to the public and agree to be present a certain number of hours per month and during open studio times.
