At many of our library locations, we offer weekly programs for our middle and high-school-aged patrons to make new friends, enjoy fun activities, and have a safe place to hang out. We are excited to announce that these programs have made it across the river to our South Hill location. Every Tuesday, join us at South Hill Library for one of these fun activities at the library!
Anime Club
Anime fans can watch anime with other teens and participate in a fun Japanese culture or anime activity.
Cozy Hangout
Patrons participate in a cozy activity (diamond art, perler beads, knitting, cross stitch, etc.) while enjoying warm drinks and cookies.
Game On
Teens can play local multiplayer video games. Our most popular games include: Gang Beasts, Brawlhalla, Ultimate Chicken Horse, and Minecraft Dungeons.
Virtual Reality
Patrons can try out VR using our four Oculus Quest 2’s. Play Beat Saber, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted, Job Simulator, and more!.
