DISCOVERY GARDEN AT SHADLE PARK
The Discovery Garden at Shadle Park Library is a place where you can learn about the full cycle of food, from garden to table.
It features organic produce, native plants, pollinator-friendly plants, and waterwise options you can put to use in your very own garden.
As the garden grows, we’ll feature instructional programs by our Community Educator and other local experts.
When it’s time to harvest, the food we grow will be used in cooking programs in the Demonstration Kitchen at Shadle Park Library.

BIRD GARDEN & POLLINATOR MEADOW AT INDIAN TRAIL LIBRARY
This natural oasis is divided into two distinct sections: a bird garden and a pollinator meadow. In the bird garden, native berry-bearing trees and shrubs have been carefully curated to provide nourishment and shelter for birds. The pollinator meadow features over 20 varieties of wildflowers, meticulously selected to sustain native bees year-round.
As part of our commitment to be a community of learning, educational and interactive events will be hosted in the garden and meadow.
This garden is a sanctuary where nature and community converge!
