SUMMER READING Club
“Read. Read. Read. Just don’t read one type of book. Read different books by various authors so that you develop different style.” – R.L. Stine
KEEP YOUR MIND ENGAGED OVER THE SUMMER
Summer Reading Club is Spokane Public Library’s free, annual program that runs from June 1 – August 31. There are lots of ways to participate for people of all ages!
One of the best parts of Summer Reading are the fun and free activities! This year, join us for programs with Science Speaks Spokane, the Reptile Man, and Cecil the Magician for kids, and Coding Camp, Escape Rooms, and more for teens. Check out our calendar to learn more!
Please note storytimes will be cancelled June 1-15, June 29-July 5, and August 16-30.
Challenge yourself to read 15 days each month this summer. Track your reading and earn badges using Beanstack. Claim your free prizes at your favorite Spokane Public Library location between June 1 and September 15.
Thank you to Friends of the Spokane Public Library for their generous annual support of the Summer Reading program and our online reading tracker, Beanstack. With their support, we purchase thousands of summer reading prize books each year. We are also so grateful for the support of USL Spokane, Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, Ben & Jerry’s, Spiceology, YMCA of Spokane, Turkey Tail Tattoo, Angela Krahner tattoos, Page 42 Bookstore, Spokane Comedy Club, Jupiter’s Eye Bookstore, Spokane Parks & Recreation, Wanderlust Delicato, Board & Brush Creative Studio, Seng’s Asian Barbecue, Spokane Symphony, the Friends of the Spokane Public Library, and many more.
