Spokane Public Library is transforming into the region’s 21st century library and we are looking for someone great to join us. As the Human Resources Director for Spokane Public Library, you will act as a director of people and culture, nurturing a supportive work environment where employees can flourish and achieve their full potential. By managing and coordinating the Library’s human resources functions, you will help create a culture that prioritizes employee success, engagement, and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations of human resources functions, developing and administering policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing services to Library departments and personnel. This position reports to Spokane Public Library’s Executive Director and is independent of the City of Spokane. Your mission is to cultivate a positive and productive work culture that fosters employee growth and development.
The general schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, although some evenings and weekends will be necessary.
The anticipated hiring salary range is $80,000 – $100,000 and includes comprehensive benefit coverage including medical, dental, and a defined-benefit retirement plan.
