If you are looking to host an event where you require paid attendance (or ticketing) and/or after-hours access, we require a rental fee. Scroll down for other types of room bookings and more information!

You may reserve a meeting room up to 10 times in a 60-day period.

EVENTS

Each Library location has a large Events space to host lectures, classes, large group meetings, and more. Some locations offer the ability to combine multiple Events rooms to create an even larger space if you are hosting conferences, trainings, or another large-scale event. Events spaces are equipped with technology, seating, and podiums.

STUDIO

If you’re in need of a space to get creative, you can reserve a Studio complete with concrete floors, washable surfaces, and seating. Reserve Studios for any type of meeting, especially for artistic meetings that might require a bit more clean up.

Studio spaces available at Shadle Park, The Hive, Hillyard, & Central Libraries. 

STUDY

Find a quiet study room for reading, studying, test practice, and more. Gather with your peers and coworkers to take advantage of this study space to learn and grow in your studies and interests.

Rock out, attend Lilac City Live, host a public lecture, and more at Central Library. Reserve the third floor nxʷyxʷyetkʷ Hall or the social stair between the second and third floors to take advantage of our more unique and innovative meeting spaces.

MEETING ROOMS

To reserve a meeting room, review the booking calendar and select a time and place you would like to hold your meeting. Click on that space and fill in the required information. You will receive an email confirmation after you have booked. If you need to monitor or cancel your room bookings, please log in using this link. If you do not show up for your reservation within 15 minutes of your scheduled reservation time, you forfeit the room reservation.

Meetings may be scheduled up to two months in advance.

Door codes are emailed to you when you make a reservation online. Your door code is only valid for the duration of your meeting. If you arrive early, your code will not work until the minute your meeting begins. The code will expire when the meeting is finished. At The Hive, the door code can also be used to unlock the front door.

Yes. When you apply for a library card, you'll receive a temporary card number. In order to reserve a room, you must visit a Spokane Public Library location in-person to pick up your permanent library card.

No, the library does not provide computers for meeting room use.

You may reserve a meeting room up to 10 times per 60-day period. The 60-day period begins when the first booking is made.

Yes, food and beverages (no alcohol unless you are hosting a special after-hours event with proper licensing) are allowed in the meeting rooms. We just ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave the room as nice as you found it.

All rooms have seating and tables available for use with a whiteboard and television screen with HDMI and wireless capabilities. Studio and event spaces come with full Audio Visual setup with projector and microphones. Assisted listening devices available.

The City of Spokane is committed to providing equal access to its facilities, programs, and services for disabled people. Deaf people or individuals who are hard of hearing may contact us for use of assisted listening devices in library meeting rooms. Please contact us forty-eight (48) hours before the meeting date.
