Summer Reading Theme

Reading is important and you’ll need to stop by the library every now and then to get more books. You might want to check our calendar so you can come when some of the great programs we have planned at the library branches are happening.

Once you’ve completed your reading then visit your favorite branch of Spokane Public Library (by the end of August) and show us your completed reading log.

If you’re 17 or younger we’ll let you choose a book to keep from our stash of Summer Reading Giveaway Books (generously provided by the Friends of the Library). If you’re 18 or older we’ll use your completed log that you turn in to enter you into a drawing for a prize (provided by the Spokane Public Library Foundation).

Need book recommendations? Check our blog or ask a staff member for ideas – we’re experts at recommended reading!
