While Native American heritage should be recognized and celebrated each day, November marks the national celebration of Indigenous peoples and Tribal Nations. It is a time to acknowledge the culture and heritage of Indigenous groups and reflect on our nation’s history to understand that we live on the land belonging to the people of Spokane Tribe. Spokane Public Library celebrates the occasion with some virtual programs and book lists.
