Seed Libraries

Build community around sharing seeds that are appropriate for our climate! Customers can take and/or donate seeds to our libraries as part of our seed swap. 

As a Library customer, you can take as many as 12 packets per visit!

  • 6 packets of edible plant seeds
  • 6 packets of decorative plant seeds

Consider donating any seeds you harvest or have leftover at the end of the season to our Seed Library for next year!

Fabric & Yarn exchange

Bring your UFOs (unfinished objects), tiny quilting squares, yarn balls, bolts of fabric, and more. Please bring your fabric and yarn to the information desk and help yourselves to anything from the shelves! No donations are required to take something.

Love music but ready to refresh your collection? Bring in vinyl records or cassette tapes you no longer want, and trade them for fresh finds from fellow music lovers. It’s an easy, fun, and free way to discover new tunes while giving your old favorites a new home.

Drop off donations at the Shadle Park Library Info Desk, browse what’s available, and see what catches your eye.

Puzzle exchange

Have puzzles you’ve already solved? Bring them in and trade them for new challenges, or just pick one to take home. It’s a fun, free way to enjoy puzzles while giving your old favorites a new home.
