Libraries Team Up to Fight Hunger

No one should have to choose between buying groceries and paying bills—yet many in our community face that difficult reality every day. This April, Spokane Public Library, Spokane County Library District, Liberty Lake Municipal Library, KHQ NonStop Local, and the United Soccer League (USL Spokane) are coming together for the Bites & Books Food Drive benefitting Second Harvest and we need your support.

How You Can Help:
Join us in making a difference by donating canned or packaged nonperishable food items any time April 1 – 30! Both cereal and peanut butter are always needed. Your contributions will directly support Second Harvest in their mission to provide meals to those in need across Spokane County.

Where to Donate:
Drop off your donations at any Spokane Public Library location (minus The Hive) or visit this link to find other donation sites!

Learn More:
To discover more about Second Harvest and their efforts to combat food insecurity, visit their website at Second Harvest.

Thank you for joining us in the Bites & Books Food Drive. Together, we can make a difference and help end hunger in the greater Spokane area!
