Who are the Friends?

The Friends of the Spokane Public Library is an all-volunteer group dedicated to supporting different projects within the library including the Summer Reading Club challenge prizes for kids and teens, Spokane is Reading, and special equipment purchases. The Friends relies on volunteers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to staff the bookstore at Central Library, prepare for book sales, serve on the board, and more. They organize book stations at each neighborhood location as well. Learn more about the Friends of the Library, book donations, and volunteering opportunities here.
