Imagine your artwork brightening a space where families gather, children learn, and neighbors connect. Spokane Public Library and Thrive International are teaming up on a new collaborative development called B in North Spokane. B pairs affordable housing managed by Thrive International with community and garden spaces managed by the Library.
As part of getting B ready for the community, we’re looking for a local artist to create a mural in the community room—a vibrant, welcoming focal point that will inspire residents, visitors, and library program participants alike. The wall faces floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto a beautiful garden, making it the perfect canvas for your creativity.
About the Project
This collaboration connects Spokane Public Library services with Thrive International’s mission to support refugees and immigrants as they build new lives in our community. The selected mural will serve as a vibrant focal point in a welcoming, multi-use space designed for gathering, learning, and connection.
Location: B, 6988 N Nevada St, Spokane, WA
Mural Size: Approximately 29.5 feet wide by 12 feet high
Installation Period: May 2026
