While yes, it’s a part of it, a majority of yoga aims to build a deeper connecting to your breathing and when we connect with and control our breathing, we can better adapt to the stresses of life.
Yoga can help ease back pain, increase flexibility, and gain strength. It can also help improve balance, joint mobility, and quality of sleep. You don’t have to bend like a pretzel to do yoga.
