Get $200 and Share Your Original Music on Lilac City Records, Spokane’s Only Local Streaming Platform

We’re now accepting submissions for Lilac City Records, Spokane’s only local music streaming platform—and the year-round soundtrack at Scale House Market!

If your music is selected, you’ll receive $200, your work will be featured on Lilac City Records, and you’ll reach new listeners across the community.

SUBMIT YOUR ORIGINAL MUSIC

Why Submit?

Lilac City Records isn’t just a streaming service—it’s a celebration of Spokane’s diverse musical talent. Submitting is totally free, and you keep full ownership of your copyright. With our non-exclusive license, your music remains yours to share anywhere else, while also being discovered by local fans.

This is the only time in 2025 that we will be accepting new music to the platform, so you don’t want to miss this opportunity! We will be accepting 20 new original EPs or albums to the platform.

Submit your music now through October 31, 2025. Accepted artists will be notified on November 20, 2025.

Priority will be given to musicians who are not already on the platform.

Meet the Curators

Your music will be reviewed by a talented panel including Rajah Bose, Rosie Cerquone, Jay Condiotti, Carey Eyer, and Spokane Public Library’s own Jason Johnson, Andy Rumsey, and Alina Murcar.

Extra Resource for Musicians

As always, don’t forget to protect your original music! Our Music Education Specialist, Andy Rumsey, created a guide that breaks down music royalties and the organizations that help you collect them. Learn how to protect your music here.
