hoopla Service Ending – What You Need to Know

We are sorry to let you know that after careful consideration, Spokane Public Library is ending service with hoopla Digital effective February 28, 2025. Any materials you borrow up until February 28th at 2pm will be available for the duration of the lending period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. At Spokane Public Library, we continually strive to offer the best possible services while responsibly managing public funds.

The hoopla platform is one of our most expensive digital products. We’ve taken steps over the years to limit spending by implementing borrowing and monthly spending limits. However, in the face of the recent budget cuts from the City of Spokane and after months of consideration, we have decided to end service with hoopla.
