Hope in the Community: A Night of Art and Music

Experience a festival-like atmosphere of hope and positivity at Hope in the Community: A Night of Art and Music on Saturday, April 25th, at 6pm at Central Library! Hosted in partnership with Refugee & Immigrant Connections Spokane (RICS), this festival-style event offers free live music, hands-on art activities, and opportunities to connect with neighbors across the community.

The night kicks off at 6pm with live music and a guided Paint & Sip led by local artist Nicki Coburn. Space is limited to 20 participants, and beverages from Iron Goat Brewing will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting RICS. Families can also drop in between 6 and 7:30pm for a watercolor painting activity, encouraging young artists to explore themes of hope and creativity.

Music will fill the evening with performances from Spokane’s talented local musicians:

  • Grandview Experience – 6:00–6:45pm
  • Raj Saint Paul – 6:50–7:15pm
  • Olivia Brownlee – 7:20–8:00pm
  • Andy Rumsey – 8:25–8:50pm
  • Buffalo Jones – 9:00–10:00pm

Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about the important work of RICS in supporting refugee and immigrant communities throughout the Inland Northwest.

Expect hope. Make Connections!
