We heard some students haven’t been taking advantage of their student library cards and we are SHOOK. IYKYK: Students from Spokane Public Schools, Gonzaga Preparatory School, Gonzaga University, and Spokane Colleges all receive a free Spokane Public Library card with their enrollment and gain unlimited access to our collection. What does this mean? We’ll break it down for you.
Gonzaga Preparatory School, Gonzaga University, and Spokane Colleges Students
Students from these institutions can log in to their library accounts using the Partner Login section on our sign-in page. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to fill out some information and to create a PIN. Once saved, a digital library card will display your new student library card number.
Spokane Public Schools Students
If you are a Spokane Public Schools student, you can log into your account in Clever and access your library materials in your school account. Your library card number is 27413081 + your student ID #. Your PIN is your birthday (MMDD) unless you change it in your account.
Culture Passes

Go to a Zephyr or Velocity FC soccer game with friends
Support Spokane’s local soccer club and reserve your culture pass for an unforgettable evening! Each pass you reserve with your library card comes with four (4) tickets for your group of friends. You can do this once a year! Find the Velocity schedule and Zephyr schedule online.

Enjoy an exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC)
Experience world-class art and history exhibits with your library card. By reserving a MAC culture pass, you can bring two adults and up to four children for a fun day at the museum!

Hear a Beautiful Melody from Spokane Symphony
Tune into the talents of our local symphony with a Culture Pass to the Spokane Symphony. One culture pass is equal to four tickets!

Spend an Evening at Spokane Civic Theatre
Reserve a Spokane Civic Theatre pass to attend any show in their Season 78. There are variety of fun shows to choose from!
Library of Things
With your library card, you can reserve actual items from the library like gardening tools, cooking items, musical instruments, and so much more. You can check out two (2) items from our Library of Things at any given time, so let us paint a picture of what you could be doing with your library card.

Movie nights
You can check out an inflatable movie screen and a projector from the library for FREE to stream movies with friends. Watch your movies or shows under the stars while the weather is still nice and make some amazing, new memories.

Board game nights
There are a variety of board games you can check out! Before you buy one from the store, check our catalog for games like One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Catan, Sushi Go!, Monopoly, Ticket to Ride, and so many more.

Have a cook off or bake off with friends or family
Use our 12-cup silicone muffin pan to make amazing pumpkin spice muffins or our Halloween cookie cutters to make ghostly sugar cookies to share with your classmates. The library has some great cookbooks to help you with your recipes.

Play, hike, and explore the outdoors
Play some croquet, pickleball, volleyball, or basketball all with items from the library’s collection. You don’t need to pay extra to use a gym, just borrow an item and play all day! For some water sports, you can even check out a stand-up paddle board or a Discover Pass to check out our local state parks.

Clean up some messes
Accidentally spill coffee on your couch as you were trying to study for that bio exam? Or did your instant ramen take a tumble onto your carpet while you were up late finishing math homework? Check out a Little Green HydroSteam Machine and accompanying carpet cleaner!

Did you know you can check out 500 books, movies, and CDs at one time?
That’s right! Whether you want to read all of the manga novels we have or check out Taylor Swift’s entire repertoire on CD, you can check them all out at once. If you are assigned a book for your English class, you don’t have to buy it – borrow it from the library!
You can even borrow magazines like Food Network magazine, Ranger Rick kids magazine, National Geographic Kids, and more.

Use your card to reserve meeting rooms for studying, games, and more
Use study rooms or larger event rooms for Girl Scout meetings, game nights with friends, art sessions, book clubs, homework study sessions, and so much more. There are great rooms at all of our library locations! Make your reservations on our website.
