We’re excited to announce an update to our catalog system happening on Sunday, October 27 that will improve your library experience!
Here’s what you can expect with the new changes:
- Easier Holds: Instead of placing a hold online for a specific book at a specific location, you will be able to place a hold on a book title, and the first available copy from any location will be sent to your preferred library. This will make getting your books faster and easier!
- Improved Speed: The catalog will load quicker (much quicker!), helping you find the items you want without the wait.
- Better Support for Teachers: As a partner with Spokane Public Schools, this update simplifies how teachers and school library staff navigate our system, making it easier for them to serve students.
Please be aware the catalog will be unavailable Saturday evening and Sunday morning as we make this update.
