Recording studio

Choose one of three types of service you can access in this epic space.

SELF-RECORD

Reserve the recording studio for 1-3 hour blocks using our Self-Record Station. In addition, you can use the recording studio for rehearsal space or practice your piano skills with a provided Hallet and Davis upright piano. This level of service is unassisted and does not provide access to the control room.

Want to be prepared? Before your reservation time, get a head start on your Garageband knowledge:

BOOK A TIME

BOOK AN AUDIO ENGINEER

Reserve a time with our Music Education Specialist and Audio Engineer, Andy Rumsey. Andy will assist you with up to 4 hours of recording/mixing time in our state-of-the-art recording studio and control room.

Patrons can Book an Audio Engineer up to once per week. 

The Recording Studio is unavailable the last week of every month to record Studio Sessions (see option below).

STUDIO SESSIONS

Apply for 40 hours of studio time to record and mix your music.

This is a trade-based opportunity to record your music for free using the recording studio with full assistance from our Music Education Specialist and Audio Engineer.

We review applications quarterly. Applications must be submitted 90 days prior to your desired potential recording dates.

The Recording Studio is dedicated to Studio Sessions the last week of every month.
