Now through July 31, Support Spokane County students, families, and organizations in need by donating your gently used school supplies to any of our library locations (minus The Hive)! The Spokane County Regional Waste Ambassadors and Art Salvage are collecting gently used supplies, and the library is a collection site! Giving school supplies a second life reduces waste, conserves materials, and reduces energy needs to produce new materials. Collected materials will be sorted, repackaged, and redistributed to organizations, groups, and individuals at no cost.
Accepted items include:
- Paper (clean, unused)
- Notebooks (clean, unused)
- Calculators
- Glue
- Crayons (even broken ones!)
- Pencils
- Pencil pouches
- Markers
- Erasers
- Scissors
- Staplers
- Rulers
- Binder clips
- Teacher aids
- Paint supplies & more!
