Celebrate spring at one of our biggest garden events of the year! Join us at the Indian Trail Library on Saturday, May 2 for a morning full of plants, learning, and community connection. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, there’s something here for everyone and it’s all free.

Kick off the growing season by swapping plants with fellow gardeners or picking up free plant starts and saplings. No plants to trade? No problem—come take home something new for your garden!
- Free Seed Giveaway
In partnership with the Spokane County Master Gardeners Foundation, grab a variety of free seeds to help your garden grow all season long.
- Indian Trail Garden Open House
Take a stroll through the library’s bird garden and pollinator meadow. Meet Community Educator Juan Juan and learn about the space, the plants, and how it all comes together.

- Composting Demonstration
Learn how to turn yard and garden waste into nutrient-rich soil during this hands-on demo led by a member of the Spokane County Regional Waste Ambassadors program.
