We have four studio spaces dedicated full-time to artist residencies and we’re looking to fill them with 1-6 month residencies throughout October 2026 – Fall of 2027! Applications will be open through the end of the day on April 30.

Since August of 2021, over 60 creative individuals have enjoyed artist residencies at The Hive®. These artists and writers have written novels, painted enormous canvases, silkscreened on clay structures, built massive public sculptures, and so much more. The Hive® has been integral in helping these artists and writers realize ideas that have been percolating in the background for them, sometimes for years. The word the artists most often use when speaking of their time at The Hive® is “transformative.”
If you’re interested in applying for a studio space, please take the following steps:
- Read the FAQ about becoming and Artist-In-Residence before applying!
- Stop by if you can! We host Open Studio hours Wednesdays from 4-6pm. This is a time to see the space, ask questions, and meet the current artists.
